Clean Room
Hard drive media requires nothing less than a class 100 clean area to open and examine the media, Xytron has class 100 and a new class 10 facility, this specification is higher than class 100, thus giving you the confidence that your media is in safe competent hands, and in an environment that will not degrade your media further.

Hardware
Proprietary and the best available hardware are employed, this equipment includes such machines as spin stands, oscilloscopes, logic analysers, EPROM programmers, hot air rework stations, frequency counters, and waveform generators, this equipment is designed to assist our technicians resolve complex issues arising from magnetic storage media failures.

Clean room technology
Xytron labs have 2 clean room facilities, a class 100, and a brand new class 10 facility which has just been installed and calibrated at our labs.

Class 100, and class 10 describe the amount of particulate in a given volume of air, hard drive require that the air be cleaned to class 100, our new class 10 environment allows for a higher degree of purity, this is especially required for physical issues, where the hard drive may have been subject to foreign debris, file, or water damage, please ensure that the company you send your media to has this technology, here is our certificate.
